We’ve always loved ice cream, but our story officially started with a box of Girl Scout cookies. More precisely, a box of Thin Mints. One of us had an at home ice cream machine, and with just a vanilla base and a sleeve of cookies crushed up by a four year old, an idea was born. Wouldn’t it be amazing to leave our jobs and do something that brought us joy? As transplants, community can be difficult to find. To feed people is one of the easiest and longest lasting connections you can make with another person.

Over the next few months the idea of wouldn’t that be nice turned into, are we really doing this? And after a slow start, things started to come together quickly. A slow roll became an avalanche... of taste.
